Spring is in the air. Watch out for birds and bears!

Spring is a time of wonderment. Especially with the animals. We started a study on birds and bears. Check out what was happening this week.

Working on creating some flying birds.

After reading The Best Nest. By P.D. Eastman. We explored a real birds nest.

How can a bird do that?

We are going to build nests. What will we need?

We ventured off to the park. To create nest of our own.

If I was a bird what would my nest look like?

Time to feed.

We made our very own bird feeders.

Let's find a perfect spot to hang them.

Bears and Hibernation.

In the winter we talked about bears going into hibernation. Guess What? They woke up in the spring and they are HUNGRY. Watch out for the bears. They look fierce!

When bears wake up in the spring. They wake up hungry. Off they go to look for food.

Look what these hungry bears found.

Magnatile bear caves. Great designs.

Hide and Peek

Something is hiding in there. Can you find it? Green block, yellow dinosaur, red triangle, purple bear, blue lego and an orange shape. Which did you find?

We love books. Especially when they're really big books.
