This week we introduced Shapes . We had so much fun. We were surprised to find how many shapes we found in our classroom. this is a great activity to do at home. Look to see what shape your table is. Or your doors, windows, tiles. the Posibilities are endless. have fun. Enjoy this blog. You wont believe how much we did in this short week.

Match the shapes together. Wait who mixed them up? We can fix them.
We made our own color game. First game boards, then digging for color cubes, and then placing them on our board and counting.
Painting with ice paint. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Goldfish for snack. Not only delicious but educational. Sorting by color.
Science Time. We created lava lamps. A lesson on mixing oil, water, food coloring and alka seltzer.
Art class with Mr. Matt. Does oil and water mix?

Show and Tell was a huge success. The children were so excited to share something about themselves. This is a great way for the children to develop language skills. and get comfortable talking in front of others. I originally mentioned having Show and Tell on Wednesday's. But I think I will keep it on Friday.

You might have seen in a Roycemore School newsletter next week is SPIRIT WEEK.
We will be doing it a little different in Early Childhood. We will be focusing on colors.
MONDAY wear BLUE to school.
TUESDAY wear RED to school.
WEDNESDAY wear GREEN to school.
THURSDAY wear your FAVORITE COLOR to school.
FRIDAY wear your Pajamas to school.
On Friday weather permitting parents are welcome to join us at 9:00am outside for a pajama story. I will confirm as the week goes on what the weather looks to be.
We will have some special activities planned for the week.
