Earth Day is about raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and taking action.
It's a day to remind us to take care of our Earth. We reflect on our planet, our environment, and learn what we can do to help keep the Earth healthy. With our fun and educational activities children will learn about the three R's for taking care of our Earth: Recycle, reuse, and reduce.

We love our earth!
Keeping our earth clean. We put on gloves and filled up 3 bags of trash! We are going to continue doing this. It was fun and we felt great knowing we helped our planet.
Through books, videos and fun activities we learned all about the 3 R's.
Think twice before you throw out what you think is trash.

We were lucky to find egg cartons to recycle into flowers. We made a beautiful bouquet of egg carton flowers to give to Mrs. A :)

Music Class
We colored pictures of the earth while we listened to beautiful music.
Art Class
Mrs. Lorenz showed us how we could paint beautiful pictures with our fingers on an ipad.
PE
We are getting ready for a special school day. Parents will be able to join us.

Madame is teaching us more clothing words. Today we learned chaussettes (socks).
Everyday fun in Pre-K.
Next week we will start an alphabet count down to the last day of school. On Friday some of you received a paper copy with the schedule of activities. Wow I can't believe the school year is winding down. In a separate email you will receive a copy of the schedule and a link to help us make our last days a success.
Roycemore's Annual Auction and Scholarship Dinner is this coming Saturday April 30th. If you haven't purchased tickets, there is still time. We hope everyone can make it.
