Hi everyone. We had a short week of school this week. But we managed to fit a lot in. We started our first thematic unit. "All about me." We started an all about me book. We spent much time talking about ourselves. We talked about how we look, what we like and don't like, our favorite colors and there is much more to come next week. We read the book It's ok to be different. By Todd Parr.

This week we met Dr. Glader. Roycemore school social worker.
Dr. Glader read us a story about feelings.
We ended the week. celebrating Macie's birthday. We all made birthday celebration crowns, made her a beautiful card and enjoyed cupcakes together. Who doesn't love a picture of their child enjoying a cupcake. Thank you Macie and family for the delicious treat.
Next week we will finish up our "All about me books". I"m so happy to see how our class is coming together. I love seeing the friendships that are being made.
